Charity Banners - Image Group Backs DSGi Business' Sport Relief Campaign
Manchester based large-format printer The Image Group has donated full-colour PVC banners to help publicise the DSGi Business' Bury call centre's role managing the donation lines for Sport Relief '08 on March 14th.
Image Group marketing director Kevin Rowe said,
"Sport Relief is one of those epic nights of the year when businesses and individuals pull together for good causes. We're delighted to be supporting DSGi's involvement at the sharp end accepting the donations. We hope the banners will help to spread the word about the great work they'll be doing on the night!"
80 staff from the DSGi Business call centre have committed to manning the donation lines for the Sport Relief '08 event which will be televised from 7pm until 1am on BBC One. The live telecast will include sports stars and celebrities competing against each other in sporting challenges to raise money for a good cause.
Friday night is usually a quiet time for DSGi Business' Bury call centre but the phones will be ringing hot from 6pm on Friday, March 14th as the call centre opens its lines to accept donations for Sport Relief '08.
Jerry Roest, Managing Director for DSGi Business said,
"Our Bury call centre and staff are fully equipped to take thousands of incoming calls. We're very much looking forward to the challenge of taking calls for as many donations as possible. I'm sure our office will be buzzing on the night as we get into the spirit of Sport Relief."
Sport Relief '08 is a charity event led by Comic Relief that uses sport to raise money and help vulnerable people in the UK and across the world's poorest countries.
A small team from Image Group headed by our 'charity banner' graphic designer Natalie Burrows will be raising money for Sport Relief in the one mile run in Manchester this Sunday.
