Image Group and Tactus deliver a stunning exhibition at The Gadget Show Live
The Gadget Show Live is one of the biggest tech exhibitions in the UK calendar and Tactus were looking to build an impressive stand at this years event. With over 85,000 people expected through the doors of the NEC in Birmingham they wanted to make sure that they stood out from the 200+ exhibitors attending.
In the lead up to the show Tactus asked our Account Manager, Rick Jervis to help them develop and build a unique exhibition stand for their 6m x 5m space. After sitting down and talking through a brief with the client, the design team at Image Group began crafting some initial concepts and computer generated 3D models of the proposed stand. Minor amendments were implemented in collaboration with the Tactus team and after a relatively short approval process the final stand was approved. At this stage we began manufacture in our purpose built 35,000 sq ft joinery and fabrication workshop.
The final stand included over 60 Sq Metres of wood effect vinyl designed and printed in house at Image Group and was complimented by bespoke lighting, LED TV screens, iPad podiums and custom built product display units.
Speaking on behalf of the Image Group, Rick Jervis, said "We have a really good understanding with Tactus as a client and working together with them on this vital exhibition was a really interesting challenge. The Gadget Show Live is a very important show and the main requirement was to make something truly unique and appealing to help Tactus build on their growing reputation. With the use of our workshop and expert vinyl fitters we were able to create a warm and inviting stand that proved to be very popular with the attendees of the show."
Daniel Fleming, 3D modeling expert continued "Sometimes exhibitors think bigger is always better. However, this is not always the case. A medium sized stand such as the Tactus 6m x 5m space can be developed with care and close attention to the efficient use of space. With the right balance of exhibition graphics, bespoke joinery features and actual exhibition product the finished result can be 'best in show'. I'm really proud of the Tactus stand because I think it illustrates this concept perfectly".
Gemma Hindley at Tactus had this to say "It has been an absolute pleasure to work with the design and production team at The Image Group. They've provided our brand with an exceptional service in supplying our exhibition stand for the Gadget Show. They deliver beyond expectations and always with a cheery smile on their faces. Image Group deliver a top class creative and manufacturing service on time and on budget. 5 star company and people."
