A fresh approach to a popular event
GMSS have been a long standing client of the Image Group for some time now and they have provided a Linx Modular system for their Expo events since 2013 where they were even awarded best stand at the show. Due to the flexible configuration of the kit, this particular stand was used to suit a number of different floor spaces across several shows over a three year period. It has also been rebrande several times by a number of NHS organisations including NHS Strategic Clinical Networks (part of NHS England).
Thanks to the success of the previous year's work and as the scale of the devolution agenda in Greater Manchester, the September 2016 show grew both in size and ambition. This meant that Image Group had an opportunity to offer a bespoke solution that would make the most of the space but could still be delivered on budget.
In order to make the most of the space and secure buy-in from the various stakeholders from the NHS and private sector, the project was imagined in a 3D visual and rendered from various different angles. This allowed for the layout to be trialled on screen and confirmed by the client before manufacture began.
The final stand consisted of toblerone shaped display units with touchpads, storage, furniture, an area for guest speakers and all finished off with full colour printed graphics.
For Image Group, Sales Manager Adele Lumsdon said:
“When we sat down with Michelle and Paul in August we discussed the stand space for 2016 and what they would like to achieve from the day. I quickly realised that their modular system would not accommodate the space and that I could still offer a practical solution that I hoped would also keep in budget.
We designed a 3d render which Michelle and Paul were able to share with their colleagues to help visualise the space and how it would work from a practical approach. I was really pleased that with a few small alterations we got it right first time and that everyone involved was happy with what we supplied. We have a great relationship which I hope will continue for years to come.”
