Using Banners to Attract Customers at Trade Exhibitions

When attending a trade exhibition, it is easy for visitors to quickly become overwhelmed by the sensual overload created by the many different banners and exhibition displays. Of course, each and every business exhibiting is competing to catch the eye of passers- by, so what can you do to ensure your exhibition display stands out from the crowd?

Attractive

The most important thing to keep in mind when exhibiting is that you only have a few seconds to grab the attention of passers-by. More than anything else, this is what must be at the forefront of your mind when you are working out the initial design of your exhibition display. When thinking about this in terms of banners, try to imagine what kind of banner would be attractive to your target customer base. In general, bold colours and exhibition graphics are excellent for making an immediate impact and grabbing attention, whilst short and simple text is most effective for communicating a simple business message.

Engaging

Ideally, banners should be large enough to attract a visitor's attention before they even get to your stand. A good-sized PVC Banner or well designed roller banner that is appealing can act as a 'beacon' and engage a potential customer in such a way that they will be drawn to it. Of course, once that person arrives in your general area, you and your staff can then get to work explaining why they simply cannot exist without your essential product or service!
