Get ready to show off your exhibition stands across the UK!

Exhibitions stands are being prepared to see the light of day again across the United Kingdom.

While we have to remain cautious and adjust to living with the new landscape after the pandemic, events and exhibitions are slowly opening across the country again, albeit at a reduced capacity until toward the end of June, provided the Government remains on course with its roadmap out of lockdown.

For many exhibitors, it can’t come soon enough. Many are working to create new exhibition stands that show the best of their business and how it’s managed to evolve during the last 18 months.

Already exhibition panels have been out in force at test events across Liverpool City Centre; most notably at a gig in Sefton Park where the band Blossoms played to a maskless crowd who weren’t required to social distance.

Exhibition stands and panels were out in force for a variety of reasons though; to remind people to stay safe, to point them in the direction of refreshments, to help vendors sell food and drink, and for many other reasons.

Not only was the gig a great test event to help trial how life across the UK may look at the end of the Government’s roadmap, but it also showed how practical panels and stands could be used in the new normal moving forward to interact with people and make sales.

Exhibition stands have also evolved during the pandemic, too. There’s no reason at all why businesses can’t still have physical stands while also incorporating them into virtual events hosted over Zoom and other conferencing software.

It’s something that Prospects Events recently did in Hull, hosting a free event called Skills Humber on 21 April. Skills Humber is the region’s largest career, skills and apprenticeship event for young people.

People could attend the virtual job fair and virtually visit stands to speak with exhibitors. Attendees could speak to people at stands in a face-to-face way through their conferencing software.

It shows the power of stands when exhibiting in person or at virtual events; they’re great at creating a hub for exhibitors, where people can find out more about the brand and get access to information – digital or otherwise.

However you use your stands when exhibiting, a lot of businesses are excited about the prospect of setting them up and interacting with prospects from them again in a Covid-safe and secure manner.
