Car and van wraps are much more than celebrity good looks

  • Share This :

Car and van wraps can be big business.

Probably the best current example of that revolves around what rapper Kanye West has recently done with his Lamborghini Urus.

The supercar is one of the most admired around for its incredible, sleek looks. Kanye has gone one further though, and commissioned his SUV to be wrapped by a specialist to give it a military makeover.

The wrap has been specially produced for Kanye and features a 3M Gloss Light Ivory wrap with an Avery matte overlaminate film.

Kanye isn’t the only one. Footballers Joe Hart and Marko Arnautovic have previously had their car wrapped, as have Red Dwarf’s Danny John-Jules, David Guetta and many other well-known personalities.

You’d be mistaken then for thinking that car and van wraps are exclusively for the rich and famous, and well out of your reach.

Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, it’s quite the opposite; car and van wraps are incredibly affordable ways to add an artistic touch to your vehicle, and can be far friendlier to their exteriors than a spray paint job or similar coating.

Van wraps especially can be a great way to spread a company’s wider commercial message in creative ways.

Car and van wraps, when done right, are brilliantly creative works of vinyl that are simply put over the vehicle, ready to be removed whenever you want a change without damaging the body.

While celebrities are commissioning wraps to incorporate beautiful designs onto their vehicles and make a fashion statement, many other businesses and brands across the world are using wraps to complement their wider marketing strategy and let people know they exist.

Wraps naturally draw the eye of passers-by because they offer something different from the standard car. They generally aren’t boring; they can feature amazing images of your products, services, team members and logos, complemented by calls to action to encourage people to get in touch.

What’s more, they can be seen by anybody and everybody as you go about your daily business in your car or van. A wrap alone won’t do it though; it needs to have the right message and be able to convey what you do in a moment’s notice to maximise its impact and generate more enquiries.

While a celebrity’s wrap may look great, a wrap designed around solving the wants and needs of your market can do so much more.

Contact the Image Group’s creative team today to find out how to do it, and how our vehicle wrapping experts will make your cars and vans stand out from the competition.
