All kinds of buildings and organizations need to advertise to get more people coming in and using their services or programs. Churches, schools, gyms, and libraries are just a few that can all use to increase their footfall, headcount, or overall community involvement.
Some things you can do to attract the attention of people that might want to get involved but might not otherwise notice your building is to use banners. You can hang high quality, waterproof PVC banners inside and outside your building, from just about any surface or wall. Another way to do is to put banners or signs by the side of the road, near your building, or at a junction with arrows and directions to your building.
You can also use banners or fliers inside other buildingswith the permission of ad director of course. People often read notices on boards in community buildings such as libraries to see what's going on in their area. This is especially helpful during the summer months as parents try to find activities for their children and teenagers.
Other things you can try besides signs, , and fliers are advertising in the local newspaper or on the radio, or having your events and services announced at other public events. You can even try handing out postcards or fliers in town. As you try to advertise your building and get your name out there, remember to stay positive and try not to be pushy as people like to discover things on their own.
